As a Rogue Valley Native, I've witnessed the emergence of the wine industry in Southern Oregon and have happily tasted the wines most of my adult life. By profession, I'm a tour guide in France, but when I'm home, I love to show off the remarkable wines of this valley.
I love a good back story and every winery has one. It's as varied and enchanting as the wines poured.
Most of the properties, as with the owners, have had former lives. That's where some of the most interesting stories come in to play. Some of the wineries have become grand ideas that have taken shape. Some are understated with an overriding sense of place and the past. It all comes together to produce not only the individual terroir, but the ambiance in the tasting room that reflects the new story the owners want to tell about their wines.

I provide a relaxed, low key way to see, not only the wineries, but to learn a bit about the Rogue Valley as well.
I can drive up to 3 people in my spotless, air conditioned, Subaru Outback. Its zippy!
I offer 3 tours: These are my prices through June
The local Bear Creek. tour - These are the wineries in the local outlying areas. We will visit 4 tasting rooms and its about a 3 hour time frame. One of the most amazing panoramas in the valley, a very historic tasting room with a walk through the vineyard and a famous pear growing/wine producing vineyard.
$45 per couple or for a private individual. Add on a 3rd person and its $30
The Upper Rogue - This is about a 4-5 hr. tour we will see 3-4 unique wineries. You will see the Table Rocks, follow along the Rogue River and learn how a sign along a pioneer cemetery, convinced a family to grow grapes here. This is cowboy country!
$85 per couple. Add on a 3rd person and its $50 For a private individual $75
The Applegate Wine Trail - 4-5 hour tour with 3-4 very different wineries (its up to you). You will follow the Applegate River, see beautiful green alfalfa fields and maybe some hang gliders!
$95 per couple. Add on a 3rd person and its $50 For a private individual $75
*Tasting fees are not included but most tastings will be about $5
I bring along a cooler, plenty of bottled water, blankets and a tablecloth. You are welcome to pack a picnic. I can also recommend and make arrangements for food along the way. Most of the wineries are serving food and at the very least, fruit and cheese platters.
I'll have tasting notes for you and will be able to tell you about each winery and the wines they produce.
Most of all, it will be fun, informative and relaxing because you don't have to drive!
